please tell me that you're alrightWell, well. This is the product of an attempt to break out of the strange art block sort of thing that I've fallen into. ~gurain and I are both in the same sort of situation, so we both sort of agreed to just,... draw and draw and color and color until we broke whatever's keeping us so... un... artsy.
SO. I've been feeling sort of lonely lately, just simply lonely. And I wanted to draw, but I didn't want to draw Matsi. So while randomly on =Makime 's page today, I noticed that she's been feeling the same way.
So... bam?
I'm not really happy with this. I WAS, at one point. But now I'm not. I don't really know what happened. But THAT'S OK. I might take away a lot of the background crap and just put the basic image up instead. But for now,... this'll do. ps. Maki's new fursona is AMAZINGLY amazing. Which... is pretty darn amazing.

Yeah, I remember when I didn't know who Motion City even WAS. And I remember watching you FREAK OUT over them, and I was like, "Srsly. There must be SOMETHING great about them if Winz is this insane!" And then I listened to them. And was like, "UM. SEXPLZ." The end?

Hrrhrr. Not arty. How silly. I like the effort you put into your backgrounds. They're so interesting. I really like the colors and the shapes. Just the style...it fits so nice! And I do like the textures on the bark. It's a nice contrast and keeps things interesting.
I love how you're always depicting scenes of some sort. It's so much better then having characters just sitting there. :]

8D This is beautiful. I always thought so. ( dA just wouldn't let me tell you ;.; ) The initial spazzing I had when I first got the picture has dulled down, but I STILL think it rawks JUST AS HARD. You're so sweet ^^

Anyway. I just gasped when I saw this. It's absolutely -gorgeous-! Again I must say, you know how to capture emotion. I love the gloomy feeling. It somehow reflects my own feelings right now :s
I love the random-kind background. It makes me wonder what is there out there in the woods. And that little butterfly gives hope and light in the middle of that darkness. :33 That's how I see it.
I adore the character, especially the writing on their tail and ear. You know that the pose is extrauberawesomeness o0o Those front paws are just adorable! Pawpaddsssieeess.... <3

This is so, so, SO pretty.. like, the whole atmosphere in general. Maki looks absolutely adorable. And I actually do really like the vector-ish background. Cute pose; I love the paws.. You pulled off this kind of pose so well, it's like, totally amazing. Wow. Just.. wow. XD
