The recent ep of Adventure Time showing Ice King's past was so great that it made me want to draw up a comic.I'm aware that there are probably errors here in the timeline, and even some far-fetched bits (even IF IK and Marceline were both alive before the war, what are the chances they both just so happened to have been in the same location?), but ah well.

Marceline survived the war (or didn't since vampires are technically classified as undead) because she became a vampire... but how did the Ice king live?

Ah so it was his magic that kept him alive, and drove him insane. (just watched the episode "I remember you") I'm still very fascinated by the Mushroom war, and how Marceline originally became a vampire, and follow the Ice king down his road to maddness.

The whole mushroom war thing WAS an accident. Pen said that when the episode buisness time came out he just went with it.
If you want to know more about the mushroom war go to the wiki it has soo much detail and even made the possibility that adventure time takes place in North America possible.
