This is his outfit when he tests Provezano his resolve for being the Right-Hand man and Storm Guardian. He challenges Provezano to a deathmatch, by which shocks Ferro immensely. Provezano mentions he will do whatever it takes to get his inheritance, and he'll pass, and make it alive. They then get into a very heated battle by which the two also use underhanded tricks, some failing, some successful, it doesn't change the fact that both were bleeding and heavily injured during. Provezano stops attacking as Lewenhart still continues charging, understanding this now, Provezano realizes that he cannot always be in the heat of battle and eventually be killed meaninglessly. He tells Lewenhart that he can't die there, not keep fighting, because he still has to live for his boss, who trusts him fully. And for him to keep that trust, he has to keep living and protecting Ferro. Lewenhart only smiles and tells he's passed. Nobody understanding, he says it's the duty of the right-hand man to live in order to protect his both until death, and that his duty as a Storm Guardian has been putting up very well. He removes the jewel on his brooch and Provezano's Storm Ring, thus giving him the Original Adalfiere Storm Ring.

Once that was done, he gave to Provezano his enhanced short-sword that extends into a spear, and give him a pat to the shoulder before returning to the Ring. Provezano soon passes out due to his bleeding and his injuries.

Lewenhart appears later during the Rain Guardian trial, by which is being held by his younger brother Claudio. He stops Claudio via scold that he should spare Virgillio's life and that it was only a trial. If he fails then at least give him a second chance, but don't kill him. they both get into an argument until Claudio finally agrees about giving Virgillio a second chance in inheriting his true power.
