the loco up front is neat! Looks like a certain pair of RWS characters!

Cracking shot Proof there was some sunlight in Yorkshire that weekend! And yet another KWVR unusual combination double header...

She was built in 1887 by Beyer Peacock in Manchester, so I believe that makes her 123

I do like the W.D. but I have about 20 photos of it now, so I'm trying to avoid it

seeing this makes me think of the Scottish twins Donald and Douglas from Thomas the Tank Engine...I loved that show as a kid.

90733 - "Nice this..."

957 - *pant* "Come on give me some help!"

That always seems to be the story of the day whenever 957 double heads a service with any loco, the little class 2 takes the strain and the more powerful class 8 does nothing...

That evening sun does wonders for the lanky livery. Absolutely magic shot.

Is this using HDR? It looks somehow surreal, but quite beautiful.

Of course, to some degree it also look silly, with that small steam engine in front of the big one ("I know I can I know I can…"), but still, it looks good.

No, no HDR, indeed no editing what so ever. This is exactly how it came out of the camera.
