Description cut out of a skateboard and burned with wood burner. add a little stain and crash. this is for a show and silent auction for the benefit of homeless children. it's at the foreign cinema in san francisco on aug. 20

Really cool idea you got and SO well executed! ^^
It looks awesome and yet so "simple"..and I don't mean it's not rich on intricate details, cos it definately is, flawlessly! I just mean, you did it with a wood burner..a tool often thought of as a childs tool to be used in woodshop and look what you've made with it! It's freaking amazing to look at!
How unique and wonderful this is ^^

thanks for the kind words. i used a very specialized wood burn tool. these things cost hundreds and need to be ordered. i don't think that kind of work could be done well with one of the kid's wood burn tools. thanks for checking it out...

this sold at the auction for more $$$ than i could afford. i'm glad the $$$ went to a good charity.

yeah, i skate every day with all of the amazing bay area talent,... and am fortunate enough to do graphics for board companies too..
