Just wanted to paint Danny Trejos face which is actually a map of the sewer system under San Quentin. Also could have put this painting under category landscape.Related content

True, but not everyone concerns him or herself with the intricate details of anatomy and shadows/lighting as you do. Even if you one has the talent, the tools and the dedication it still needs to be coupled with a wicked fantasy and enough inspiration to make one's work stand out against the rest. You don't have so many artists who succeed to excell in a varied array of subjects and domains. And don't forget, here on DeviantArt you're 'competing' on a global level, something that artists 10-20 years ago didn't have to concern themselves with. In short, I'm in awe and I fail to comprehend why no more people feel the same way (or at least take lil' bit of time to show that they appreciate the effort).

Gorgeous detail buddy. Why does his left eye look three times bigger than his right ? I know JT is one scary mofo , maybe he willed his eye to get bigger..
