Description It’s another excerpt from the first Apeman and Monkeyboy story, entitled “Stomp!”, taken from the bit where the hirsute heroes arrive on the scene following reports of a monstrous machine wreaking havoc in the city of San Diablo. Off in the distance you can just glimpse the machine in question, which should go some way to explaining how the story got its name...

Sorry, that's me muddling things by using English slang again. What I meant was that I was really pleased with it - I'd never drawn anything like this before, and it turned out better than I'd dared to hope. Apologies for the confusion!

You are correct, sir! That is indeed the Bananamobile, a big yellow car which goes like a rocket and can travel underwater should the need arise. And looks like a banana, obv.
