The latest. This one was the result of a little poll I did on the Allspark forums. Rodimus here beat out Jetfire and Brawn to headline the next strip. I'll get to the other two fellas eventually though

Nice piece, btw.
I never did feel like the writers gave him or Galvatron a fair shake in the original series.
For instance, the whole thing with Galvy going crazy or whatever.....I never understood why Megatron didn't kill starscream during the first miniseries (in terms of being "in character," not in terms of "it's a kid's show").
Similarly, Rodimus could have been written more as the "emerging leader" (so, yeah, insecurities, but growing) instead of incompetent ... why would the Matrix respond to a complete incompetent? There still would have been room to bring Opti back, as fans demanded ...it just would have given Rodimus a different development arc.
I know, I know...we don't look to Transformers for great character development, but the series overall did a good job with world-building, and I think the post-movie run would have been better recieved with a few tweaks -- mainly gone forward with the character development the movie set up.
So, yeah, I'm in the minority, but Hot Rod/Rodimus has been one of my fav's since elementary school.

Its not that he had to grow in to the role that makes me think he wasn't a good leader its just that he got autobots killed doing it. And he whinied about being leader after the matrix chose him to fill that role (even though thats olny because he touched the matrix before Magnus).

you know what, i was being a nerd looking on cammyfan.com today and realised... i really want to write a Cammy comic-serise lol i luved her when i was a kid in school, i drew her nude to keep arseholes off my back and now it is my destiney to write a truly explosive Kickarse Cammy comic (this came to me after i finished my second script for something i have to keep secret because i signed a contract).
Cammy goes to Britian, beats the shit out of some bad streetfighters who were outside british landmarks while trying to uncover some scret information from M.I.X!!!
Oh yes and of course i love Rodimus prime so this made me laugh my arse of

...course, the bizarre dream I had where he was somehow the son of Optimus Prime and Elita 1 via that link-up the two had in the ep "Search For Alpha Trion" could be a part of that.

This one comes across as a bit unfair and mean-spirited. The poor guy gets enough undeserved Hell from the fandom without cheap shots like this.
