Now please explain me why it's so great without using those two arguments:1. It's from Japan
2. It has funny commercial that was reanimated with manga/vocaloid charactes.
It's NOTHING SPECIAL. Stick in chocolate is not a gastronomical miracle. There are tons of better sweets than this stupid pocky.

I know what you mean. I have never heard of Pocky until someone said something about it on here but I have never seen adverts or seen it myself. I saw something similar and it was nice.

true, its just a biscuit dipped in chocolate, that dosent make it automatically awful, many american foods are delicious and only have one ingridient, i dont eat it BECAUSE its from japan,i eat it because its good and quick

My friend offered me pocky, she rambled on how kawaii desu the commercials were and offered me some, i tried it, ate it, and never looked at the damm thing again. The chocolate part excited me though XD i just simply like chocolate

Pocky is awesome, and i'm not saying that just cause I'm an otaku and a weebo. It's good that you're expressing your opinion and i don't mind it. All food is, well..... food. Pocky is no different, but i personally like it better than other food.

One reason that we think it's better than another chocolate stick because it is from Japan, yes. We feel closer to Japan when we eat pocky because it issss from Japan. Some of us "weebos" and otaku don't respect the rest of Japan like it's culture and religion but those are the few that don't care about Japan, they just care about what they make and nothing else. Others actually care for Japan and respect it, not just the anime and manga they make but also its cultural ways and such. It may not be more special than any other food to some people in the general and obvious ways but it is to others in a way that is special to them, whatever it may be. Please respect that part of the matter.

Although I agree with you, I still love Pocky. I loved it before I found out it was Japanese, and I've never seen a Pocky commercial. Why do I like Pocky? It's something all my friends can agree is good, and it's coated in chocolate. Yes, there are plenty of other sticks in chocolate that are pretty much the same, but I found Pocky before I found them.

It's better than Mikado sticks, lol. Those make me sick x3 I like the Pocky with Strawberry fondant, those are really nice x3 I don't really care too much for them, because they are just sweets. Plus, i can only get it when visiting a Chinese shop in Carlisle, so I've only had it once. It's a treat, I guess.
