The original model took about three hours. After that I spent another half hour messing around with different options while rendering, and this was the best result. Overall I think it's a fairly faithful adaptation. Hagurumon is the Silver one, and Solarmon is the Orange one. They're the same model with a color swap, in case you weren't completely sure. The hardest part was probably the eyes, as I've never done a texture for an eye like that before. Well, that and when the hands got all messed up while I was modeling them. That was awkward.Lightwave 9 and Jasc Paint Shop Pro used.

Oh, yeah, I see. In the pictures I was using as reference he was, but maybe the characters have become more differentiated since I made this. This picture is quite old!!

Actually chances are that your reference was one of those Fan Recolors. Some not so good sites make their own Re-Colors of Toei Pics, when the Digimon was not in the Anime. As for Bandai Pics, Hagurumon always had those differences.

I see. Then yeah, it's likely that what you're saying is the case. If I ever go back and remake these in my current software I'll be sure to update them. Thank you for pointing that out to me.

Oh. I wanted to use this model in a video I'm trying to do involving the "Spirit Evolution" Sequence. (No, I'm not going to Spirit Evolve into Hagurumon, in fact, I'm going to battle him. :3)

Well if you put up some WIP for that, I'll be happy to help. Normally I'd just say sure, but since CGI is sort of what I want to do professionally, I think it'll work to my advantage to not simply hand out my models on a whim to anyone.

Well actually those are 3D Models, similar to those you'd find in a Pixar film or a video game. I don't have any more models at present nor am I working on any, but I do think I have some actual drawings kicking around somewhere. I'll see if I can gather them up.
