Description
So, this is my entry for the "Love Scene Contest."I know, is a bit strange and not very elaborate. But try to think, love is not feeling the purest in the world? I think so. What is the best place to meet if not in his mind? Not count the distance between two people, what matters are their feelings.
In my work I tried to represent this concept is distance / closeness.
As you can see the heart in the center is composed of the two ribbons that tie the two guys. Also the shadows on the bodies suggest the outside lights, but the true light, is the union of the two tapes that form the heart. I hope you like the concept.

It is very true that it is not the distance but the feelings that two people have that really matter.
Me and my boyfriend just realised how when we both friends we always complained about the distance. But now, even when we're just talking on the phone, we both feel like the other person is right beside us.

This is absolutely true, and you did portray the distant closness thing. I've had a boyfriend who lived and hour away from me for two years, and this is exactly what I felt. It was like being so close, yet so far away.
And I still feel tha way now towards him, even after he broke up with me. He promissed to come back, and even said he still loved me, but we both had agreed to start our lives first before continuing with our relationship. And I trust him in his promiss.
But yes, you have drawn exactly what you wanted to portray, in my opinion. Great skill and symbolism, too. I aplaud!!

I don't quite understand this. The description says it's two boys, but the image contains only two people, one boy and one girl, as far as I can see. Great artwork, but the description doesn't seem to line up with the image 100%.

I don't know, I'm a little bit confused about this image.. If it's a portrait of true love, why is the man carelessly smoking a cigarette and the woman (sorry, the right one just really looks like a woman to me what with breasts and a dress) giving a very sad/hopeless impression? The picture looks very depressing and sad, more of something that is out of reach, a desperate cry for love, perhaps. Not the warm, vivid, all-filling and overwhelming feeling that true love gives you.

This, this beautiful. Very rarely do I ever comment I pictures. Despite, I would say "simplicity", it hold a very beautiful message. As the distance between the two people, people who hold online relationships can easily relate, as well as lovers whom are distant but this great impact of emotions. I know I can easily relate to this as well, but not one of the reasons why I like this. It's just gorgeous, I love how portrayed, it seems so simple but holds a very impact and even deeper message. Very beautiful work, please continue being a wonderful artist!
