o.o oh my I had forgotten about that, you are right! It was so much drama-kinda-fluff on the Uzumaki househould that the misterious evil creepy guy totally slipped from my mind... XP

I want to know about that, about HOW will Matt-sama make Kushina stay within the living, and what will be Itachi's fate. I wanna see him having a chance to be happy with Sasu-chan!!! >.<

Yeah. I kinda agree. I wouldn't mind if they Namikaze/Uzumaki duo didn't even go on missions, anymore. I'd be happy if they just hung around and helped out with the regular, daily lives of the Naruto characters. The Slice of Life stuff, that is.

For the same reason as canon.
Assuming they are still chakra constructs, they should be dissipating soon since in the seal they had to expend some to do their respective jobs in the seal. Outside of he seal, they may be able to parasite off residual ambient chakra left off in nature, but they are still in Essence shadow clones with no originator and as such will eventually "clock out" if you will once the chakra supporting the sentient constructs runs out, thus collapsing the shell that supports the seal. The only way to do adhere to this principle is if the seal that mask face tossed on runs the constructs off of naruto chakra and since he isnt a world renowned seal master (yet) he can't set up limiters and gauges into a pre-constructed seal array that was meant to be temporary battle of good/bad side. In the end, they know they are done for and are trying to spend the time they have left installing as much of an impression into their now grown up son as they can.

Okay basically, that much I know, but during the poll that Matt posted about the future of Kushina in NHC, there were several choices that every one of us were allowed to select:

-215 deviants said "Let Kushina survive and stick around! I'd love for her to stay and be there for Naruto (especially with Tsunade having already been acting as his adoptive mother). It would also be nice that Hinata would have a living, biological mother-in-law."

-166 deviants said "I'm unsure about this, but if you pull off a legitimate reason in how she lives to stick around after being brought out of Naruto (without it being completely shoehorned in), I'm fine with Kushina staying in Konoha."

-117 deviants said "No comment. I'll just leave the choice up to the others. Whatever happens, I trust you will pull it off wonderfully, and continue to make NHC great, Matt."

-93 deviants said "I'd rather Kushina not be brought back and depart with Minato, when the time comes. I'm one of those who have felt you brought too many of the dead characters back to life (We're sorry to hear that)."

Now, this could most likely mean that Kushina might stick around. Of course, that may not be true, as this is Matt's doujinshi and he is free to make whatever choice he feels is appropriate to progress the story, whether it's canon or not, for this story is not canon, and the story IS placed in the Ninja World, that is not necessarily realistic(people being brought back to life through ninjustu, people jumping 30-40 feet in the air and running at high speeds beyond "normal" human limits, etc), yet in some ways it IS realistic(dating, death, emotions, references to real-life cultures, etc.). What NaruHina Chronicles IS, is the work of a very talented fan of Naruto, "mattwilson83". What we saw with Kushina and Minato in this chapter right now is them feeling the natural worry of what time that they will disappear and leave Naruto, and since the future is not something easily foretold, it's possible for Kushina and(or without) Minato to live longer through the NHC Doujinshi if Matt chooses to make something happen in the story for this to be possible. I personally wish for at least Kushina to stay alive in the story, but if they were to go, then so be it.

Now, I DO have another question to ask you (and please, I MEAN NO OFFENSE to you when I ask this. It's JUST A QUESTION, and I'm ONLY curious).

After my response to this, you seemed to feel that they will inevitably be gone. Did you not know of the poll until now? And, do you wish for Kushina and Minato to live or not? It seemed like you changed your mind, or was simply being downtrodden by the current developments. I may be misunderstanding your first comment, so please clarify.

I am not a big fan of polls so I never saw this. And let's just use my pen name into context, in that I am optimistic on the outside, while internally I struggle with my more pessimistic, cynical side. I want them to stay but the critic in me says that it would be inconsistent and an abuse as an author to just "make a happen because I don't like how b ended up". Now if done right it's an intriguing twist that promotes thought. So I guess you could say I'm in the second category, and so long as the stay in for a legitimate reason that is technically sound, why I'd be happier than a puppy who dug up a brontosaurus fossil. And you have no reason to fear my friend, I take criticism with my morning tea and relish its sharp taste it leaves on my taste buds. If you have another question, fire away my good man

Okay, cool. Just wanted to get that outta the way! I hate when people get the wrong idea....(except for humorous things, like innuendo and entendres XD )So no worries, man. You just didn't know about the poll!

I admit, at first, I wanted Kushina and Minato to disappear when they should, but due to how funny it'd be to see her around the house, I kinda want Kushina to stay....so....I'm kinda on the fence, now, since there's pros and cons to her staying.
Remember when Shikamaru leaked info about Asuma to Kurenai, which in turn made Tsunade have to force Shikamaru to lose his rank as a Chunin, and pushed back down to Genin? I feel that was an decent part that shows that making actions based on your emotions can indeed deal out consequences. However, I feel there could've been a more harder punishment for what Shikamaru did, but he still did receive a punishment. Still, I AM waiting on what Temari will say.......(and that pic of Chibi Tsunade was nice. I don't see many Chibi Tsunade pics on DA.....AT ALL! I'm gonna try and search......)

And, yes I have another question(s)! Do you think the story seems a bit too positive? Do you feel there should be more drama or tragedy to it? Or is it fine, so far? I personally like how it's going, but I don't mind a LITTLE more bit of drama, here and there, as long as there's plenty of comedy and uplifting moments that keep from feeling like crap all the time and bumming you out(e.g. "Kimi no Iru Machi", the latest chapters of "Freezing", and "Hetakoi").

I feel you on the freezing. But this doujinshi is developed in the world of naruto, and that is a world in which is light and humorous while still keeping the intensity of the moment, and on that note I think it's right where it needs to be. Light and comedic, but additional depth is added to each piece int he game

Jiraya and Asuma are a different case. Minato and Kushina are more clones than anything else and are made entirely of chakra. Whereas Jiraya and Asuma were genuinely revived and have their souls inside an actual physical body
