Chi Kurosawa dragged her feet through 6th Squad's barracks, chewing her lip. Keiti followed closely behind her, shaking her head as Chi tapped her foot. Her lack of patience was starting to tug at Keiti's nerves. "Chi..." She started, tapping her shoulder. Chi turned around, greeting Keiti with a pouted lip. "What? Are you laughing at me?" Keiti shook her head and sighed.

"No, Chi... I was just wondering whether this was such a great idea?"

"Of course it is, he'll love it~!"

"But... What if the Captain sees you dressed like that?"

"... Then he won't recognise me?"

Resisting the temptation to bury her head in her hands, Keiti tapped Chi's shoulder as Renji walked out of his office. Turning around and laying eyes on Chi, he froze solid... Bar his hands, which immediately dropped all the paperwork he had previously been holding. "C-Chi?!" Chi beamed. Apparently this was the exact reaction she had been after. "Happy Halloween, Pineapple~!" Keiti stepped forward, coming between Chi and Renji and beginning to pick up the scattered sheets. "Honestly..." She muttered, handing them back to Renji. "It's just face paint." Renji inched a little closer to Chi, dragging a finger down her cheek. A line of red paint lifted, sticking to his finger. "What are you...?"

"Duh, it's Halloween. Keiti wanted to know if you'd come trick and treating with us tonight!" Keiti coughed, lifting a sleeve to her mouth to hide a slight blush. "We wanted to know, Renji-san..."

Renji rubbed his head, closing his eyes in thought. "I... Uh, I guess." He muttered. "But first I have to--"

But it was too late, for Chi was already running through the hallways cheering. "Pineapple's coming trick or treating~! Lock up the kids, 'cause Pineapple's coming~!"

A vein popped in Renji's head, as Keiti followed Chi, chuckling under her breath. "God damn it, Chi!! Stop calling me that!"
