Disney insists that the cub at the end of the movie is Kiara from Simba's pride, but they have changed her design so that she doesn't have earrims like at the end and made her more chubby and not fluffy. I think that's one of the biggest complaints people have had about Kiara, and sadly I have to agree. I think they should've just kept the same design from the first movie at the very end, they could've easily made her grow into an adult lioness as I've portrayed here. (poorly lol)

The colors I don't really have a problem with, I just think they should've kept the earrims, and pay a bit of a nod to Nala so I gave her some of Nala's body type which I referenced here: [link] and here: [link] . I noticed her tail tuft was more of a brown-ish color I assume that came from Nala's side. I gave her a slightly more pronounced chin, which I assume came from Simba's side.

Personally, I like the idea that the cub at the end was a girl. As a kid I thought it was a boy, but I was happy to find out it was a girl. While I liked cub Kiara's design, the adult design wasn't that great. The colors weren't what bothered me though. I liked that she looked like Simba and not a clone of Nala, or that they decided not to do a boy that just looked like a Simba clone. I got her eye color from Simba in the first link. The rest of her colors and design came from the actual picture of fluffy found here: [link]

Funny thing though, infant Simba didn't have earrims. Ever notice that before? Yet his kid did...and then suddenly...didn't in SP. Weird. I like the earrims though. They're cool.

I'm thinking about doing my own SP story with Kiara looking like this. Yes, I'm keeping the name. I might change some aspects of her character and personality though, while keeping the qualities that I do like about her.

What do you guys think?
