 That's one of my favorite things about the SF2 era.   When Champions edition came out, Capcom gave us all new artwork with the characters in their champions colors, same with Turbo!  I loved that artwork and it kinda taught me how to draw people,  before Street Fighter came out all I ever drew was cars!

Haha- oh yeah, and don't forget about Super Street Fighter when they came out with 8 different color schemes including Champion and Turbo edition X3 The artist of that game was a big inspiration. I loved whoever that artist's art style too! I admit a lot of fighting games inspired me as well including Street Fighter 2.

Yup! I think the artist was either Akiman or Bengus for Super SF2. I have alot of Capcom art books and I studied those for years.

Thanks!!  This site has most of the original sf artwork up if you're interested.  I usually go there for references, too.

LoL You're my hero, man. I certainly bookmarked that goldmine for some inspirations and "oohs & aahhs" over these fine artist's work. XD
