I have been practicing flint knapping recently. I'd reccomend it to anyone with the idea that pre-historic man, even back as far as a million years ago, was in any way less intelligent or capable than we are today - it's HARD!

so anyway I'm working on things inspired along those lines. I'm contemplating engraving onto this sort of thing but ... well if I do it you'll understand why I'm reluctant to potentially ruin something that already took me several hours! (that's not including sanding, polishing and lashing). This was the first time I'd ever done lashing so I'm fairly happy with it. I learned a lot on this one

Oh I almost forgot, the arrowhead itself is 1.25 inches long, the whole carving from the start of the lashing to the tip is just over 3 inches.
