I've been writing some sci-fi short stories and needed to address a few of the gender different, gender neutral species in the setting and we discovered these pronouns. I have tried to use them when I am unsure as to the gender of someone, so yeah, there ya go.

Agreed, best way sometimes... I will admit I spend far too much time on Wikipedia getting tidbits of information to use in the different cultures of my gaming worlds.
