Description A simple Tutorial thingy on basically what grafted wings look like. Ever seen scare tissue or the after results of a botched surgery or anything with stitches in it's flesh other than Frankenstein? You're welcome.
Now, if you're wondering what kind of wings or bird species to use for the Flying Eraser batch, you first must consider that they were designed to be flightless in the first place.
If you wanted to make them fly you should read what my Irish friend Arschler said about the whole "humanoid-wing" thing. (BTW, man, why the heck would you call yourself Arschler? Are you just being honest or do you simply not know?)
The Eraser's fully morphed body is way heavier, taller and more muscular than what they are in human form. They need more muscle attachments above the muscles on their scapulae as well as the rest of the back along the spine. The added muscles must somehow intertwine and then the nerves must be connected together. I inferred that the methods involved for the procedure were through tons of surgery and a butt-ton of shots to make sure the body didn't reject the additional limbs as well constructing more tissue/bones/nerves and ensure the avian DNA was successfully combined.
As for the size as type of wings they put on them, I'd prefer big, long wings to help support the heavy weight. Best species to use is the Condor. (see Google Images) (Californian Condor since the School is located near California) All Erasers have Condor wings. And they are HUGE! O.O Probably over 20 maybe just over 30ft for these human-wolf mutants. But if you think you'd like them to have different wings, also try the Egyptian and Lappet faced vulture>> www.arkive.org/lappet-faced-vu…
I think the Erasers are 10ft tall (at least)?

The new wings are going to be extremely painful no matter how advance the technology. Think about it: You have these huge pair of wings that completely foreign to you. You shift in and out form your human form to your scary wolfman form so the stitching is bound to be stretched from the changes. The Erasers take pills. Not just painkillers but also to make sure the body doesn't reject the foreign appendages. I'm also guessing they squeeze in a few steroids.

Note: For character development, since the Secret Police/Erasers are the main threat and considered the bad guys, draw the feathers a bit worn and tattered. ^^

Viel Spaß! ^^

Interesting. What about albatross birds to use for the wings?

i'm sure that would be great for effortless gliding. Basically, long, broad wings do the trick.

Wouldn't that also pose a challenge for taking off though?
