hahah, whoa, great shot, must've used a fairly dense filter to get a 30 sec exposure at 400iso eh? really neat effect, still don't understand how the clouds moved that way, but it looks great

Neat, it looks like you crosshatched it, but then I read it was long exposure. This is an interesting awesome shot of those clouds.

This is a fine piece! Wonderful choice going monochromatic aon this one. I hear the 20D has in camera BW..did you use it?

no... i just like having the control in photoshop...in my opinion that kind of feature is for someone who doesnt have great capabilities to do post processing... it is useful however, if you want to use filters, which may cut down on that processing if you know what exactly youre going for...

I truelly hopeso, and i just recieved an email saying i got accepted for a Ba in Visua arts Majoring in photography, so i am even more exited now to get the camara OH MAN

this is cool, i love the effect, how much light was around, this is afterall a 30s exposure.... would you have needed anything like that time without the filter?

this is at dusk.. just like a few hours ago...

normal exposure was about 1/60 @ f8 ... or so...

Did you use an ND filter to allow the 30 second shot, wide open, at ISO 400??! Neat cross-hatch effect in the clouds.

hoya r72 infrared filter requires a LOT of light to get through it...
