Description
I drew this pic for Fadalgia Card Game. She is Japanese godess of the sun. She always carries a mirror and sword. I used shrine maiden costume as model for her outfit.

awesome mate, like how you've slipped all 3 of the imperial regalia in lol the sword given to her by her brother (susanoo) and the magatama and mirror used to lure her from the cave she hid in out of fear of susanoo. Really like that touch, really nice work

I read about her. She was known as "the mother of the new nation" (Japan). She also birthed 5 samurai : Hi (fire), Sui (water), Chi (earth / soil), Fuu (wind), and Tetsu (steel). Hi is the first of her children.

I was about to say that this didn't look much at all like okami's Amaterasu (if human) until i saw this was some other brand. Looks good any way.

kind of how I always imagined her. However, I find it quite amusing that if you exclude the mirror and the hairstyle; it could very well be a mix of Tenshi and Reimu from Touhou

Beautiful and a nice concept, I just love the Miko outfit, it's different from other versions I've seen.(Don't worry I actually never saw her version in Okami.)
