I'm a bit confused on this one cause I never watched the series, why is the tail so sensitive?

Technecly tail wasn't sensitive, but it was a major weakness into areas:
1) if someone grabbed the tail, it would be so irritating that saiyans lost their mussul control unless you where and elite who trained to get used to it
2) after looking at the moon And turning into an ape, if it were to be cut off the would return to normal.
Vegeta's new tail is proberbly sensitive because he lost it for a long time and isn't used to having it touched.

That wouldn't be possible even if Vegeta's tail grew back because an Elite Saiyan's tail is not sensitive unlike 3rd class saiyans... Remember when Piccolo grabbed Nappa's tail? It didn't work on Nappa, so it would certainly not work on Vegeta

Its not about elite Saiyan, Raditz is a first class warrior but he gets hurt when his tail's squeezed. Goku trained his tail to withstand the pain, which is why Krillin couldn't hurt him that way in the 22nd tournament and Vegeta and Nappa were totally out of the question, cause one was an elite warrior and the other was the Saiyan Prince.
