^^ For few days I wasn't here and wasn't able to work, so this is just me getting back into regular pace...but I like how it turned up.

There's a bit of story behind this one...you see, when I was a kid of some seven or eight, one of my good friends moved away, to Germany. We stayed in contact, wrote letters and so on (those was late 80's so there was no net )...we used to exchange things like magazines and similar and I remember, there was a brief button mania those days in Germany. Button everywhere: on pants and skirts, t-shirts, jewelery, hair pins...everywhere! I loved it and so wished it would come to my part of the world, but that never truly happened.

Well, I guess, all these years later and this is my contribution Funny thing...when I showed this to my friend (and yes, we're still in contact ^^), she totally freaked out, so instead selling it like planned, this goes to her, first thing tomorrow ^^

Some technical details for all of you who like to know those things: 2 cm high, 1.5 width (0.78 inch, 0.59 inch), it's covered in black fabric. 40 blank papers, hand painted endpapers, decorative raised bands (as this is mix of perfect binding and hardcovers, so no sewing this time). It's a bit different type of binding than my usual, as you can see if you take a closer look. I love trying different styles.

Buttons are fimo, handmade, by me (almost a year ago, actually...found them yesterday)

It took me good four hours, but mostly because I had to paint the buttons.
