I tried something different here, with semi-successful results. The paper I work on is a bit grainier than I usually do, but it doesn't show well (I think it's because snowflakes), so no matter what I do, my camera doesn't picks this right.This is traditional drawing, done on A4 hard paper, slightly grainy. Pencils (from 2B to 9B), mechanical pencil (0.5), black ink and white gel pen (for snowflakes). PS used for returning the contrast camera stole and adding few more snowflakes (where I missed them, lol). Nothing else is digitally altered.
Model is my friend Maat (who will kill me for depict him this way, lol) ~HieronimusdeCarabas . I know some of you won't understand the meaning of staff (I planned a icicle covered top first), but same my model asked for this instead and well...I like fulfilling wishes to my friends

that staff looks painful! like the burr cold wind of winter! pickley like your nose as it freezes...
love how his cloak folds and crumbles.. love the fact that even tho it looks so cold he can kneel comfortable in the snow with his shirt open to the wind and his head bare... so his hair blows freely!!!

You did a really good job on the snow as well. I like winter. It's so dead, if that's the right word, and at the same time white, fluffy and shimmering.
This image has an interesting effect on me. Feels like I'm admiring something really dangerous at close range without caring that it's already too late to run

Youve got fabric texture down perfect, especially the way its creases at the bottom of the cape!
