Description
Portrait painting of an original character, an elven princess. This is a much more realistic style than I normally draw and paint in so I really had to be sure the facial structure and anatomy were down pat. Despite the realism, I still wanted to show her innocence and purity, as she is meant to be a sweet young lady 
Done in Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop.
UPDATE: Revisions made thanks to helpful C&C's I received. I enlarged her facial features to match the head size more. Thanks guys for helping me to become a better artist!

A very tranquil, natural, and noble vibe shines from this piece. The detail work on this elf princess is gives so much depth to the eyes it is mesmerizing! From the work you put into giving her hair that natural strand look to the several scenery details(butterfly included), this a lot growth to be observed in this piece.

I think the facial features (mouth, nose, and eyes) need to be made bigger to fit the overall size of the head. Her hair looks lovely!
