Back around the turn of the millennium, there was a manga distributor ComicsOne. Among their titles was Sarai, which quickly became one of my favorites for the visuals and the character designs. Sadly, only eight volumes were translated into English before ComicsOne went out of business. I really wish I could have read the rest of the story.Sarai (c) Masahiro Shibata
