For the moon Festival this year...Last year was my character MayShing Yeh who greeted everyone on this holiday day... this year is TianSung. X3

I know i am late.... 2004 Moon Festival is 9/28..... OTL It's also my character, TianSung's birthday... but I will draw and post it anyway....

Mmm...mooncakes. I had a blast eating them until I found out how fattening they were. Ah well. Anyhow, I really love the colors used in this. One of my favorite things about your art is your use of colors. They are always so vibrant, even if the picture is at night, such as this one. Also, they hold some feeling of traditional Chinese art. O_O;; I get the vibes.

wow, tah is such a cool effect. the blured. and really great colors. i really really like the characters above that he wrote with his finger, but i would like to see more of it. its too close to the edge for me. i might reposition it if it were me. but htat just me, and i cant draw so i should keep my moouth shut.

well, that is true of any artist. perhaps, a good artist can use things beter then themselves to make themselves better? if that make sense.

hmm... it's basically accompanied with the legend of a woman who flew upto the moon, Moon is very important to Chinese culture, we based our calender on it... according to Chinese Calender, this is the Moon at its fullest during the year, and perhaps crops are reaped based on this timing.
That's why there is moon festival, people also use this time to remember their dead, by walking in the dark with some paper/wooden made lamp. We also eat and feast, some of us also eat a cake called "Moon Cake."
