For the lack of better title... -_-''' But its a title i had in my mind when i look at this.Time: 3 days (around 6-8 hours)
Medium: Prisma color pencil, USA letter paper. (8.5X11" )

Ta DAAA~ This is my prisma color pencil piece. Once in a while I use prisma, usually I use Prang. Compare it with this: [link]
You can see the difference in richness.
(but thats useless to say almost everyone know prisma for its richness...)
I set my mind to make illustration pieces that takes longer time to do... one thing about longer pieces that bugs me is that even though I love the piece i work on, it just takes sooo freaken long I feel like ending it. >_< Darn, how am I going to reach to 100 hours with this kind of patience? TT_TT sniff.
***Keep in mind the eagle is more stylized than reality, and the light source.... I hope its directional enough.....

Is there NOTHING one can't do with pencil crayons?
I needed something like this to boost my confidence. I was going to set down my pencil crayons and start painting, because paints have a more 'opaque'ness to them. No longer! Beautiful works like yours give me the motivation to move on and get better at what I do!

That... that's just unbelievable.
All in colored pencil in only afew hours-- Goodness me. I admire your depth in skills with so many types of art mediums ;____; You can do so much! It must have taken so much patience and practise to learn like this.
The warm lighting is beautiful. It really sets off the golden colors, and the eagle's coloring seems to be a large part of this, since alot of things match to it's color tones. The softs brown color and the tan... Very nice. The folds on the fabric are really amazing. You portray the looseness and weight of the fabric so well just in how it moves.
Amazing shadows. you fit them everywhere they ought to be. This is all so skillful and accurate looking. The anatomy looks fantastic, and I love his hands. You add so much more life with accurate skin tones on human characters.

Hahah! I am not going to accuse you of being an alien, but I am amazed at your patience with this. I usually move on to something else before I have the first piece completed, especially when I am working with colored pencils! I don't know if you have one already, but the Prisma colorless blender is one of my best friends, especially for spreading colors lightly without the grainy look. You probably already have one, but just in case you dont! Anyway, awesome job!

May I ask: is prisma a type of color pencil/pencil crayons, or a particular brand?
