Totally black. However, when I save the image, and open it up with Photoshop, I can see the tank. I'm not sure why I can see it in Photoshop, and not on Deviantart, but I guess it doesn't really matter.

is that a type of chainmail on that armor or just the texture?
i remember reading somewhere that way back when guns were new (and pretty crappy), chainmail could stop bullets...

It works on similar principles, but it's not chainmail. It's reinforced silk lined with kevlar and teflon.
