I used a real photo reference for this woman. I liked it and I did my pencil and white pastel version. Made it on a color bristol board, and the original size is 26 x 44 cm.Related content

Hum, to tell you the truth, I started with this kind of portraits like 4 years ago, I was 19-20 
I started 'cuz I wanted to do something else than manga, and for some reason I got in love with human face. <3

Excellent application of medium on this. I can not stop staring at the hair, it looks very realistic. The lips and the eye are somehow mysterious, I really love it how you involve the vieweres by making her directly stares at the viewers. Simply Splendid.

Absolutely wonderful - you've done a particularly great job in capturing a rather sultry and mysterious expression (especailly with her eyes and lips). I also love the shading on the hand, and how that one small strand of hair has a small highlight.
