Zira and her family!
Got some stuff together for this headcanon, so try to catch up as I quickly lay that down for you-

First off, Zira's mother - Zuwena 🤍
In my headcanon, she's a young lioness from the Pridelands during Ahadi and Uru's reign (she was born a pridelander under Mohatu's rule and grew up together with Uru and Ahadi). One day, out on patrol, she met a mysterious young lion at the border, strong but lean built with a dark reddish mane with the promise of unprecedented love - and you can guess what happened next:

Bahati, her first born (he's the strange lion that appears in The Lion Guard when Taka got his scar).

The secret enconters continue, and Zira is now born a few months later.

Zuwema has never told her cubs about who their father is, and keeps it hidden for the sake of her modesty and pride laws of that time. She part ways with the mysterious lion for good after that, never returning to him. Zira and Bahati, though, always seeked to know about their father, and grew up with that thought until they were young teenagers.

Out on patrol, one day, Zira and Bahati met the strange lion, now resentful of his former lover's rejection, offering tempting promises to his offspring- the chance of becoming the strongest, most powerful warriors of the pride. Seeking the attention and recognition they've always craved, they started to train together, hidden from Zuwema. Their father trained them to be murders and ruthless, until Bahati decided to leave the Pridelands and join his father.

Zira, on the other hand, stayed behind until her mother died from illness, and the events with Scar and their exile that we know off took place.
