C O M B A Tbreath of wood; A combat style that's derived from the breath of water and unique to the Moriyama family. Kodama's use of the sword is decisive and precise, slow but perfectly executed strikes aiming to do as much damage as possible without leaving openings.

This methodical fighting style allows for the rapid growth of power brought upon by his breath technique. Precise strikes can be likened to the sharp lash of a thorny branch while the more thoughtful, slower and decisive blows cut the air oppressively in reminiscence of a storm felled oak tree.
P E R S O N A L I T YMuch like his original counterpart, Kodama is still a quiet individual who has very little to say or express, riddled with an air of enigma surrounding him. Although polite in his actions, he is curt with his responses and takes notice of things that could easily be glanced over. What strays from his original character is the cruelty and coldness that's shows in presence of demons. His kindness however is often shown in a quieter way and noticeable by those he is close to.

As someone who has also entered the Demon Slayers Corp at a relatively young age, he is known to be a stern trainer when it comes to advising and training subordinates.
B I O G R A P H YRaised in a secluded and protected demon slayer village, Kodama came from the Moriyama family that developed the breath of wood. Groomed from young alongside his neighbour and childhood friend, Kodama was expected to be a successor and slayer when ripe of age. When they were 10, an unfortunate day occured while Kodama snuck out for a morning excursion with the said childhood friend. The day ended in a tragedy as a strong demon ravaged their village after its been discovered, with not a single villager spared as all of them consumed till there was nothing left.

Left helpless, and with no one but each other, they began their journey to where they meant to go when older (to become a slayer). Being two of the youngest people to survive the Final Selection at their age, they both gathered strength and fortitude to become formidable slayers and eventually rising to the Pillars rank.

With a goal for revenge for their loved ones, their many years of planning might have come into use... very soon.

✦ has a keen sense of touch, in line towards his breathing style. Like Inosuke, he can feel small vibrations in the air and ground. He can also pinpoint the exact location they are looking at, which gives him an edge in combat.
