was having a little fun with a challenge to make the reference look like stained glass. i was trying for the feeling of stained glass, the simplified color and line, without doing the literal look.acrylic on 8 X 10 canvas.

Oh my gosh, I really love this! The stained glass / graphical style is really compelling in tandem with the neat perspective. There's also a lovely balance between cool and warm in this painting, I love how warm the shadows of the flower patch are. The flowers and leaves themselves all look lovely and I love the patterning of the stone. Ahh it's just so beautiful, great work.

i love your gallery! and your blog ... must follow ... i might learn something! i have tried some figurative work but not satisfied with it for the most part. i like your technique and may try applying it to acrylic.
