Description this is a more dramatic camera angle of the same scene as used in fog demo 04... [link]
which started with this fog demo here [link]

the camera can still see the light source, but that the darkest shadow 'beam' is coming down in front of her body, the second render, I moved the camera so that the light was behind her head, so that the camera then actually falls into the dark 'beam', which is why that looks so dark now. You should be able to set up something similar, just a floor plane, spot and figure, and be able to move light, camera etc to get some good effects... try putting the camera into the shadow caused by the arm breaking the beam... it can be tricky to get it in the right place first, but you could try using a small sphere to see if its in the shadow, and when it is, move the camera to the position the sphere was in? - might try that myself later!

...another thought is to bring the light source down so it is pointing up rather than down... so gave it a try! [link]

If you get some good Reality fog renders of your own, please post a link here as I'd love to pick up tips from anyone else... thanks `¬)

Where is the tutorial to make Fog? Do you have one?

The Fog used here is a prop included in the Reality exporter for defining a volumetric material that is used by the Lux render engine. It is a property within a Lux definition. The fog tutorials I have (and all my work on DA) is rendered with the Lux render engine from exporting the daz scene usint the Reality plug-in. preta3d.com/repository/Reality… see page 94 for a description of the reality fog prop. There is also a Reality plug-in for Poser, as well as other exporters to Lux (i.e. not Reality, such as Luxus, etc). more info can be found here reality-plug-in.deviantart.com… and here www.luxrender.net/en_GB/index

That Props only works with Luxrender? Not 3DElight?

Yes, that is the case. Lux render is free and I think there was an exporter that was free, but I use the Reality exporter which you can get at a reasonable cost. Sorry, but I've not used the default 3Delight in daz...
