Thanx... well most of the time i start with a photo and start messing with it in photoshop and just search for something nice and symmetry of course.

Hi Juarez, thank you for the nice words.
I'm afraid i never make tutorials, i know i will forget because it is quite an intuitive process.
So i will probably be steps ahead before thinking about it.
But you can ask me anything, i would be happy to share some knowledge if i can.

When it comes to mandalas i think it important to search for images that have somthing interesting when using it symmetrical and use more then one image. There are tons of interesting stock images here on DA. Then mask the interesting part in photoshop and start swapping, turn and see how you can fit it together as a whole. Just use the masking option, filters, color adjustments, layer options. It is really just playing around with it all and just keep trying.
