Description Hey all! This was my first illustration for Wizards of the Coast. I had the pleasure of working with Jon Schindehette, who you may know from the Artorder blog. The illo was for an article in the online version of Dragon Magazine, and since the preview is online now, I thought it was probably ok to start showing this piece around.

Also, I've been doing a lot of movie-still speedpaints. I haven't been uploading them here, since none of them are really a finished piece by itself, but I've been uploading them to my blog [link] so if you'd like to see them, follow the link and check 'em out!

That's so exciting that you got to work for WotC! My first thought when I opened this was "wow, that looks like it should be in a D&D book or something" and, lo and behold, it's for Dragon

Now that you pointed it out to me, I do see your color scheme (or variations) coming out in all your work. there's a really nice contrast between the green and orange.

This size format must have been pretty challenging!
