Thank you!! Yes, these do work in elements 6.0

To use, download and extract the brushes to a folder of your choice. In elements 6.0, select the brush tool and clicked on the down arrow key in the brush picker box at the top left-hand side of the screen. In the small window which next appears, select double arrow key on the right-hand side and chose Load Brushes from the resulting drop-down menu. Finally, then navigate to the folder where you have the extracted brushes, and loaded them. Now they are ready to use.

I don't use 6.0 very often, but it doesn't look like the brushes will be saved with the others. You will have to reload everytime you use or save brush set to Photoshop > Presets > Brushes folder, then they will always be there with the others.
