The smaller planet and a few edges on the light look pixelated but apart from that i love everything about it

I like the scenery setup/composition, again, you've added a great sense of resplendence to the nebulae/wormhole. That said, the moons look quite jagged and cut off on their edges, which isn't too good, but that's my only real issue with this piece, so nicely done [otherwise].

kyle, I don't know what the problem is with my marquee tool but everytime I copy a round to make my planet I get jagged lines ;(

cosmicbound In reply to MCchaz [2008-08-02 19:09:31 +0000 UTC]

D; It doesn't have a fixed ratio, anti-aliasing? Both are disabled for mine, otherwise I'm not entirely sure what the cause is. However, can you make circles which are not jagged? If so you could put them down, and use the magic marquee tool to select it, well, unless that causes jaggedness from selecting an unjagged circle. ;o

Cool, I wouldn't say the blue areas are nebulae, but some sort of portal to a parallel universe, or at least to another, realy far part of the same universe. Not sure if that was your intention, but it still is more original at least.

And the current-day style space station gives a sene of familiararity to this strange scene, like this is Earth at the not-to-distant future, and suddenly, a greater force appears out of nowhere, and what happens next...well, it's up to the viewer

MCchaz In reply to Chromattix [2008-08-02 04:58:57 +0000 UTC]

Well a month ago or something I made a nebula like I did my other nebula's, but this was kinda different but never really finished it or something, it was just on my computer being dusty and rusty, so I was checking my Psd's again and saw it , started working on it and asked Edlo what he thought of it, so he was like WORMHOLE.
So its some kind of wormhole, and I was planning to call the piece Earth 2200 it wouldn't really fit the scene.
Anyway thanks for your comment sir.

Chromattix In reply to MCchaz [2008-08-02 05:01:25 +0000 UTC]

Aaah, well there you go, my guess was close then, which means that you did a good job in making it look less like a nebula, and more like something more bizarre (since many who try end up with confusing results, it can be hard to tell nebula's from wormholes at times)
