Link to the high-resolution version. If any of you people get a commission, can you please give permission to the artist to post the high-resolution version? It's annoying to have to go to the buyer's page, and sometimes they don't post it. I understand if you want to keep the picture to yourself, but I've seen that happen entirely by accident.

The commissioners gets no rights to the image, except if an OC is being portrayed. I myself think posting an art commission is the least we should be permitted to do.
i spoke with Sara before I posted each artwork. Also we don't have to post high quality files, each commissioner has free will to decide wether to post it or not. We do after pay a lot for each image.Β

I always assumed a commission meant that you bought it, so you were the copyright holder. Why would it change if there's an OC? Do you have to pay extra?

Standard commission : you pay a commission but the image still belongs to the artist. The characters belong to the client.
Commercial commission : you pay the commission + the property rights, so you can use the image in a commercial way and, if desired, make business with it. As an editor would do. So you pay an extra.
Sara is totally right to manage her commissions the way she described to you High Resolution is only for the artist and the client.

I disagree. In fact, I prefer that the my Clients don't post the artworks in the highest resolution online if they are commissioned as Personal Use, because I feel that it violates this as it is made available to the public. I'll decide whether or not to post my work personal art in high resolution or not, but please know that I will continue to post commissioned artworks in low res unless there's some kind of exception. Thanks for understanding.

You don't like your artwork being available to the public? Isn't that the point of DeviantArt?
Also, I don't think "understand" is the right word. I meant "respect". I have no idea why people would want to keep it to themselves, but if they do I'll let them.

Absolutely gorgeous! I don't know how it is possible that you exceeded in comparison to Evelyn's portrait. Her beauty comes to life and it's one of my all time favorite commissions thus far from all my OC's! Looking forward to seeing the final portrait of Lana Solaris posted soon! <3
