Miles "Tails" Prower thought he was ready for anything in his life. Considering all that he went through, the fox had assumed that nothing could ever surprise him anymore. And yet he certainly wasn't expecting to wake up in the same bed as the person that he had assumed to be gone for good...
The young fox noticed the presence of someone else on his bed a lot earlier, actually - just while he was still asleep, but due to being quite the heavy sleeper, the kitsune didn't think much of it. When he woke up in the morning, and still felt that presence in his bed, he slowly turned to the side, still half-asleep.
"Good morning, darling." - A sweet voice responded to him. As the kitsune slowly made out who was in front of him and sleeping in his bed, the realization hit him like a truck...
Tails jolted upwards, screaming in...Fear? Shock? He didn't know what to feel about the situation.
"Tails, calm down! It's me, Cosmo, remember?" - The plantgirl replied, trying to calm Tails down. The kitsune took a few moments to calm down and said: "Is...Is this really you? No, I must probably be still asleep..."
Saying nothing else, Cosmo leaned in forward and kissed the young fox on the lips.
"Well, that certainly feels real." - The kitsune thought as the seedrian continued to kiss him. After the plantgirl let go of Tails, he remarked: "It really is you...But how?"
"Well...It's rather hard to explain...(To be continued.)"
