I guess the Osaka castle is my favorite one so far  (well Himeji was under construction during I was there, so maybe this will chane next year haha) and thanks for the comment

Same here! I mean I tollerate manga and anime fans but its on the same level as "I like Germany because I like beer and sausages" ^^

Took the words right out of my mouth. There is more to Japan then that.

I mean, I like cherry trees, and the architecture in the modern housing. There is one house in Cardcaptor Sakura (anime XD) and the design got me thinking of my own creative version for a fanfic of mine... in a totally different fandom altogether. Threads of Fate/Dewprism. A classic RPG for PS1 by Squaresoft (before it became Square-Enix; the producer of Valkyrie Profile and Final Fantasy).

I think I've said enough off-topic. Now back to topic; when did you go to Japan? I always wanted to go visit but my parents aren't so enthusiastic.

I was there in 2008 for 1,5 months living near Tokyo and in 2012 for 13 months studying abroad. If everything goes smoothly I will move completely to Japan this winter to work and live there
