I think these things are seriously cool and they sort of remind me of something you'd find in fantasy games like D&D or WoW.

I've been trying with poi. It's harder with an arm that I think has a damaged rotator cuff after I dislocated the shoulder, wrist and broke the elbow in a straight arm fall 2 years ago. I'd still like to do this.
Is there a way to measure how long your poi should be? I'm only 5 feet tall, and the starter set I have seems really, really long to me. I end up losing control--which would be bad if I was playing with real fire.

usually, the chain of the poi shoulbe the lenght from your hand to the opposite shoulder, with your arm unfolded
