Heh heh heh heh! Poor Slowpoke. He/she means so well.
Funny story and I LOVE the water colors and crayon outlines; they match the Slowpoke's mindset perfectly!
The only thing I would consider working on for future strips is your font. Considering everything else is so rough/artsy, the smooth/perfect text kinda stands out a bit. Not a whole lot, but I think a few alterations to your font would make these comics 100% perfect.

I was looking through MS Word and these fonts caught my eye.
- Bradley Hand
- Candy Round
- Comic Sans (I know, I know! Everyone hates it!)
- Fink Heavy (I had to download this one from the internet)
- Grilled Cheese BTN
