Description

Decided to color it after all. I do like the sketchy version as well, but I had a lot of fun figuring out the tools in SAI for coloring/painting. I really like what I was able to do with the eyes, for example, which was different from the burn/dodge tool in Photoshop.

I never learned how to paint or anything, so it was an interesting experience. Thankfully, since I drew him as a chibi to start with, I didn't have to get super complicated with the painting/shading (my main focus was his hair and eyes for that part, especially the eyes).

Original sketch was scanned into my computer (it's in my scraps section), then I did the linework and coloring in SAI.
