Kon, the mayor of my main town in Animal Crossing: A New Leaf, on his first day in town.

For NaNoWriMo, I plan on doing children's stories (I'm being a rebel this year!)...only I'd have to write 50+ of them to get to 50k words. So, I also wanted to do a comic. I know they're a lot of work and I swore off of them after I finished Shadow Play, and I'm still not so great at doing backgrounds, but I thought it'd be fun to either do a comic version of last year's NaNo story (Monster Battler, which was never completed), or my journey through Animal Crossing: New Leaf thus far (and a bit of my own spin on it, of course).

So, I was doodling in practice to draw Kon's character; this would be when he steps off the train and everyone is there to greet him as the new mayor even though he has no clue what they're talking about.
