She's got BUGGIES!
I love the bug pokemon. Too bad they tend to be very frail and weak to just about everything. My favorite pokemon is Caterpie, though I'm not up to date on the newer ones...

Bug pokemon have lots of weaknesses like rock, but they look cool, like rock. Nothing beats my ground and water pokemon though~

Rock at least has some actual type moves (I'm still in blue and red era), and they can hurt things with it. Not to mention, normal attacks don't hurt them so well. They have their weaknesses too. Bug's are "strong" to basically only physic types and plant types for the most part, but they loose out on the strength to physic types by (just about) all being poison, making them weak to physic attacks. (Same with Ghosts, but Ghosts have more strengths.) They also needed (in my time) more attacks than just pin missile and string shot. I don't recall any other bug moves in the game, so they only have one damage move... and I don't even think any bugs learn pin missile either. (I could be wrong, it's been a while.) Combine that with low stat lines... Rock has higher stat lines.
Nothing beats my level 100 Articuno (except for Mewtwo from my combat experience). (Oh, and if you take out that 100 Articuno, I have another level 90 right behind it... and then a level 70 after that... which I don't think has been pulled out in a match yet...)
My favorites went like this: Caterpie, Articuno, Sandshrew/slash (like either or), Charmander, Parasect and Pinsir. Though, that wasn't my team I played with.

Yeah. I'm a bit of a veteran of the game. I'm not up to date on anything at all with it though. I'm still in first generation. I finally got Leaf Green, but it's like playing the older Blue game... so I don't think that really counts.
