Hello and thank you for your interest! Commission prices vary based on the prop itself, and to remake the Altair Sword I charge $150 plus s&h. I accept Paypal and am willing to take the fee in two payments, half up front and the other half upon completion. Let me know if all of this interests you!

Very well done! How do you machine it? Or do you carve it by hand?? O__o

Nice! Yeah, that's what I thought. You use them well!^^
Agreed, dremels make things so much easier!! I'm trying to make a giant sword of one of my OC's right now out of pink insulation foam, and my dremel has been my best friend.^^

great work, but it will be quite fragile in poplar isn'it ?
your paint is really close to metal looking

Well I don't know, it depends if you're looking for something sturdy or easy to shape ...
But if you want to carve the wood, you have too chose a wood that is not nervous (I'm not 100% sure if the word nervous is a good translation)
Maybe the poplar is a good choice for that.
Traditionnally the lime tree is used in shaping cause it's really not nervous (but probably hard to find now).
Beech will be easy to find but very nervous.
Maybe scots pine would be ok too.
