XV-mon and Stingmon combine! Floats like a dragon, stings like an insect.One of the first paintings to go through vectoring in Adobe Illustrator in order to provide cleaner, sharper results for the angular and flat surfaces. I took liberties with the design, changing his head and making his claws into sharp blades. The shoulder pads restrain arm posing so much.
Easily one of my favourite monsters.

I used to think Paildramon was in relation to 'pauldron', which is a knight's shoulder armor. But actually, chances are ~Tepheris down there is right. X3

I still love how you paint, it really does look almost like a 3D render, and that's amazing! I wish I could handle textures and shadows with this amount of skill. Molto bene!
Also the pail is supposedly from pile-driver :/ i don't get it

Texture is just a case of "What story does this tell?". It's exciting with Digimon in mind because you can stay true to the source material (I strictly follow Toei's art) yet polish it with some interesting new detail that thickens the character's elements.
