Cutting it close, as usual~ I need to stop procrastinating!! Ugh!But anyway- here's my entry for the Project-Garnia Contest, which was to personify a constellation for the chance to have your design turned into a boss in their game: Twilight Crescendo. Seriously, what an awesome prize, right? There's a lot of really good entries so check them out!!
I chose to do Dorado, because I had a lot of really cool ideas for it! The name Dorado seems kind of masculine, but when I thought of Goldfish I could only think of beautiful flowing articles of clothing so I ended up going with a girl! The colors kinda make her look like a vegetable, but I'm cool with that since they're bright and make me happy! Maybe that makes it more memorable as well? Who knows... Hahah~ I had a lot of fun with this. Good luck to everyone who enters!

Before I even read the artist comments, I thought "GOLDFISHY". Suprerb design~ <3 The colors contrast nicely, and I really like the duel-color continuation even in the eyes. Plus, it's just a cute design. Good luck in the contest!

I tried to do multi coloured eyes once too, IT FAILED. XDD And don't say that! There are many things that make it better than decent, like her flowy fishy hair, and the lovely bold lines you use in your lineart!! It's a very good picture, and best of all it's a very unique picture! I think you should be happy!!

Wow!! Thanks so much for the wonderful comments you've given me!! I'm trying to feel out new ways of shading, doing stuff a little different each time with every picture. Experimenting is fun!! And I'm glad it turned out pretty well for this picture!! Ahh! I'm pretty excited for the results!! It would be awesome if we could test run the game together!! And even if I don't get a slot it was really fun to participate and see everybody's concepts. I really hope you get a slot!! ^^

She looks awesomely cool! The design looks awesome - I love all the goldfish-y parts especially the tail - it looks so elegant and gorgeous! Also love the pearls - they're topical with the image and adorable! And finally - the shading; really effective and yet so simple! It's an awesome picture, Mecari!

Waaaaooo~ Pretty colors all around!
I really like the eye color too. And her flowy hair, lol! Dorado means gold, so goldfish works for me, hehe. I like the black pearls in her hair, cept the more I stared at them the more I thought of this...[link] but color his eyes black. So I started LOLing because her head look like it was being eaten by a goldfish.

At least there is something in there that reminds you of a goldfish- even if it looks like her head's being eaten by one, my job has still been accomplished!! Fish eating her head > vegetable- which is what I originally thought when I finished the pic.
