Your attention to Kevin's details are amazing. I'm surprised you didn't go blind from it. Anyways...out of curiosity, was the second panel's open space where the 'energy ball' supposed to be in outer space? Only reason I asked was because of the 'starry' cape that this guy has and then you see that black spot...almost like it was forgotten. But then again, maybe it was intentional? Anywhoo...awesome inks --you can definitely see confidence in those lines on this page.

hmmmm....I wonder why kevin didn't just have some form of lighting going into the tunnel?

I have 3 types of nibs I like to use, but they all have their own holders so when I stop using one for a while they feel odd in my hand lol. I have an R. Esterbrook 355 with a koh-i-noor cork holder, a Hunt 102 with the plastic holder (modified with a big thick grip made of masking tape), and a Deleter nib with a Grifhold holder (heavy metal one I added a gel grip to).

i have the 102 with plastic grip, hav'nt tried the others. using the ruler with it will seem odd though, i am very comfortable inking organic objects , people and such but i always tense up with buildings cars and with the aforementioned technique you used on that page.

Yeah, I have to ink an explosion, which I've never done before. Your last panel has given me some ideas on how to work that out.
