Description
Today I went back to the riverbank in hope to find those elusive tiny rove beetles, I have been somewhat successful in getting a closeup, but it's complete rubbish. Then I returned to a path, that is following the river and there was this Platydracus chalcocephalus just sitting there, well sitting for few seconds then it took off. Thankfully it landed again and I managed to get some shots, that aren't absolutely terrible.
